Pretty impressive

In the past MAD has built all sorts of vehicles from boats to motorcycles to trucks but now the company is presenting this pair of Raptors at SEMA to floor the public. Chris Magnum and his team build show vehicles that are more than just pretty pieces of work on wheels. The aim of MAD Industries is to craft something that is fully prepared to be driven right out of a show booth and onto some terrain. No silly graphics and a set of chrome wheels for the creations they have a hand in. The secret sauce behind MAD is that they know the importance of the devil is in the details.

Both sides of the spectrum

The trucks received the gamut of modifications from complete sound system upgrades to a solid layer of thick clear paint protection. Chris wanted to build trucks that did more than performing their butts off on whatever you threw at them but also a cabin for the driver that fits that of a hundred thousand dollar vehicle. Carbon fiber accents can be found on the body along with body-colored bumpers to add some flair to the exterior without being too over the top.

Ready and able

Custom fender flares add some extra hip dimensions and hangover 20-inch wheels and 35-inch mud terrains. The midnight black Raptor wheels while the pearl white one sits on FF48s designed by none other than Chris himself, who is sponsored by MHT. In case of a calamity, there are two full-size spares and a jack mounted in the bed of the truck on custom-built racks to quell any possible fear of a blowout. On the front of the trucks, there are custom brackets for the Rigid foglights to ensure that the lights have a snug and perfect fit.

Not just for show

The black Raptor came fresh from the factory with the performance package but both have Whipple Stage 1 Ecoboost power kit. That kit adds 70 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque to the trucks to give it plenty of power for getting into and out of trouble.

Where to find them

Every piece of plastic in the cabin was pulled out and painted to enhance the luxurious feeling. The seats were reupholstered in Alcantara and leather and the steering wheel was rewrapped to match the seats. The stitching on the steering wheel was also done uniquely to match each truck's color scheme. The pedals and even the floor mats have also gotten the one-off treatment.

The white Raptor will be at the LEER SEMA booth with a price tag of $140,000 and the $150,000 black Raptor will be at Ford's booth. To see more of MAD's creations check out their Instagram @mad_industries
