It must've been a v6, early 2000s model i think. His nose was out in front by like 2 to 3 feet up until roughly 6th gear then i just gapped him like he wasn't even there. Pulled up to the next light and did was blown away 🤣... so was i lol.
These trucks are indeed quick. My Mustang is a '13 with a 5.0 V8 and 107k on the clock and there is very little that will outrun it in my neck of the woods. Maybe the really expensive C8 Vettes and Hellcats. That's about it. But yes, for a truck these are quick.

Yeah I don't there is any way for these trucks to beat a v8 Mustang
I agree that these big trucks are plenty fast (after they're already rolling). Off the line, my wife's Murano would kick my trucks butt every day of the week. If a rolling start is an option, it would be the other way around.

Honestly that's why i was so surprised. This took place from a dead stop

Dusted a 5.0 F150 yesterday from a dead stop. Pedal Monster makes it very responsive from a dead stop. Was ahead by 2 truck lengths, backed off, he tried to pass, but didn't give him a chance. My Flex may be able to beat the truck though, that bugger can hang with a Mustang GT. Can't beat it, but will stay with it.
Seat of the pants, tells me my wife's '21 GT 6-speed manual would smoke my '23 6.7L HO. Of course I'm the only one that drives either that way. She drives it like a grandma. So...will probably never know.

Simple just use quantum reality and superimpose (I think that's the wrong word) yourself into both vehicles and race yourself.

It's a sacrifice but I'm willing to support your investigation and drive, for science.
