Anyone running a Camper Shell / Cap / Topper?

I am going to bump this one back to the front page. I just put my order in today on an ARE Z series Cap. I got the fold down front window like the one in the video on the first page. I also was talked into the keyless remote unlock and 2 clothes hangers. I plan to install the bed rug at the same time I install the cap. The Z cap comes with the roof carpeted in the same type/color as the bed rug. I believe Bed Rug and ARE are owned by the same company.
It took me awhile to decide on which cap/company, but after looking at the reviews online. I do like the hinges on the ARE's, which is why I chose them over the others.
I will post pics once it arrives. Can't wait.

I feel that the super cab with a cap looks 100 times better than the crew cab with cap. It's just my Opinion but the crew cab seems a little too long with the cap, it looks better to me with a above the rail tool box. I believe it's going to look even better once I have a level kit on. The bed rug is pretty nice .... I would say that the material is just A step above interior carpeting quality but the fit is just a step below OEM.

Yes it does. Works off the second push (with the passenger and tailgate lock). That kind of thing will be important to the wife.

I'm looking at the A.R.E DCU wedge model for my new truck.
Wanting to see pictures installed on a super duty long bed painted in silver.
I have a ARE Fiber glass regular height with windoors nice cap never had any issues in 9 years still looks good.
If you happen to know of one somewhere please take picture and post it.
Thanks

Here is my Snugtop Xtravision with all of the upgrades available. I also have a brand new old fashioned "carpet kit". These kits are great and it's my fourth one. I'm not sure why they lost popularity but I hear they are making a comeback. I store everything I need for camping and off road recovery and it all stays organized. You can also reconfigure it to make a nice comfortable sleeper. I would never have a truck without one of these kits.
