Partially restored 1980 F150 Ranger short bed
The story on the truck is half it's charm. It belonged to an elderly woman since the early 80s, she drove it regularly until 1998 when it was parked. It sat until 2015 when I pulled it out of her front yard on 4 flats and started working.
The 5.0 engine has been rebuilt with new new bearings, rings, gaskets, oil pump, Comp 268H cam, lifters, valve seals, distributor, Edelbrock performer intake, rebuilt Holley 1850 carb (600cfm) and hedman shorty mustang-style headers; cylinder heads have been lapped and port matched.
It's got 4 new brakes, booster and master cylinder, new Monroe OE spectrum shocks, right side king pin has been replaced, front wheel bearings are new.
Check this! THE ORINAL A/C WORKS and blows cold! Heater works, doesn't over heat and is equipped with an electric radiator fan on the OE radiator!
The OE C6 transmission has had a fluid drain and fill and a new filter screen and updated with and OE cooler; it shifts thru all gears smoothly and bands have been properly adjusted.
Original dash board and door panels have been repaired and painted and original AM/FM CASSETTE player still works with new(ish) Kicker 6.5 door speakers.
All spare tire tools and spare wheel is included, new windshield, new washer fluid pump, LED interior lighting and new head/tail lamps.
This truck has been dependable enough to be a daily driver (I've been driving it daily for the last 2 weeks while the wife's car was in the shop) Honestly, I could go on and on, really you just need to check it out or test drive it OR BUY IT before I change my mind again.
