The 300 6 clutch works fine, no issues. Only thing I had to change was the equalizer bar bracket. I used a different set of holes for the 351/400 purches, they frame is already predrilled for them so you simply just bolt them on using existing bolts and holes.

The new motor runs strong,it lacks some low end though do to the cam I put in it. I have to get it above 3000 RPM for it to really come alive. It will smoke the 35s through 1-2 and chirp going into 3rd so its not to bad.

What other holes did you use? We're they closer to the front of the truck or the back? And what does this clutch equalizer bracket do?

The holes are close to the 300 holes, you use the shock mount holes as one of them I remember. Once you have the perches you will be able to see where they line right up.

The clutch bracket is the one that bolts to the block, the 300 bracket doesn't line up right on the 351.

Looks something like this.

I couldn't find a new bracket, I ended up with a used one off a late 70s F150 with a 302/4spd.

Thanks, so just to clear up what motor mounts did you use with the 351 Windsor? I'm doing the same swap and some personal expierence would be great. What truck did you get them from?

These are what I used
Extreme Duty Poly Motor Mounts,302,351W

If you are on a budget these will work just fine as well.
Motor Mounts 302, Pair

If you have a 4x4 make sure the frame perches are from a 351/400M 4x4, the 2wd ones are different.
