94 F250 IAC ECM ???

I have a 94 F250 with 460 7.5. manual transmission, i will start from the first problem...had a high idle, and would randomly start cutting out .(flooding) while at highway speeds. being a manual transmission when it would do this i could rock the key off then right back on and it would take off like nothing happend.....because of high idle i searched and found a couple of injector Orings bad. i rebuilt the fuel rail, stopped all my vacume leaks, truck idled fine but still randomly flooded out. Now for my real problem, the IAC started humming so i cleaned and replaced the old one, did not fix problem replaced IAC with a new one. still did not fix problem.... so i unpluged the IAC truck idles ruff and low but runs . here is the kicker. while the IAC is unpluged, the flooding out problem stops.... im not a pro just a decent shade tree mech...in my mind im thinking the IAC isnt screwing up because its bad, but because it is doing what its told by the computer...sooo is the computer bad or is something else messing up and the computer is trying to account for it..?????? please help if you can, i love this truck...but right now im ready to throw a match at it.

Pull the codes before doing anything else.

I did not..I took the truck to the shop. the so called mech. checked voltage on everything, pulled codes, said the only code was fuel pump relay. checked relays and they checked OK . his conclusion was i had gotten some bad gas and nothing was wrong with my truck, he said the humming from the IAC was normal and to unplug it and just drive the truck with-out it??? that is why im here.
