Help an old retired Ford mechanic?

My grandpa retired from Ford as a mechanic, been around the block and know his stuff, has helped me save god knows how much money on my old ford trucks. So now its my turn to try and help him.

He is needin a new tool box and came across this..

Extreme Tools 56? RXE Series Tool Chest & Roller Cabinet Combo

He has always gone by the old addage...if its too good to be true...

Well, he was looking at the specs of the drawers and said something didn't seem to add up right. He called the place and asked for them to mail him some spec sheets and they said they would. So far they said they have mailed him spec sheets on three different occasions, and has yet to recieve any. The lady who he talked to said that this tool box is on par with name brands. He knows a little better than that but said the price is too good to be true.

SO, I said I would try to help him and find out some info on here if I could. Has anyone done business with this company? Has anyone on here used this brand of tool box?

Any info on this company or this product would be very benificial

I don't know who he talked to but I am sitting here looking at one of those boxes.
I have the powertool workstation rather than the top box.
This option comes with a stainless steel top for the lower box.

It is all they say.
Service isn't, but then again they aren't at the shop every week trying to sell tools and collect their payment on the financed balance.

So you have that same brand box, but just the bottom section, correct?

How do you like it? Does it seem to hold up for the price?

Mine has a top cabinet with a lift up door, power and data ports, lights and a shelf inside.
The stainless top and task lighting make it nice for fiddly jobs like rebuilding carburetors.

I really like it!
It was a dream of mine to have a box like this back when I did a lot of wrenching.
Now that I have one I don't use it much.
But it is solid, the drawer slides and casters are very smooth.
I would say it is every bit of a name brand, professional quality box.
