PLEASE, tell us what fixes your problem(s)!
Been on this site for 5 years and every once in a while one of us will get on there soap box about guys getting answers to their questions and or fixes to their problems but never telling us what the correct anwer or fix is. I guess it's my turn to preach.
A lot of us take the time to make suggestions based on our experience to fix your problem. PLEASE do everyone that uses this site a favor and make time to tell us what the fis) are.
A perfect example is the recent rash of trucks dying, not cranking, locked up etc.. Probably 10+ posts in the last 2 to 3 weeks on the subject. How many updates telling us what the solution was? Maybe 1 or 2.
Again, we take the time to respond to your problem at least YOU should be curteous enough to take the time to tell us what the solution was.
Enough said!

2 to 3 weeks?! try... forever.
I've been gleaning info using the search function for specific topics past few days only to find a year or two or more old "cliff hanger" end posts...
I read a real good one last night that ended in '05 that left me wondering the same, WELL!? what happened?
what's up with that?

I think it's along the lines of just like we tend to "hear" more bad posts then good ones on here.
When things are working, why post. When things aren't workin, need to post to get answers.
Once someone has the desired result, I'm sure in their mind the thread is done. Now I don't know this for sure, but that's what I'm guessing.
If the fix didn't work, I'm sure they would have posted back unless they tried multiple things and just got POed with trying, so they said to hell with it.

X4 on that (we were up to 4, right). When my EX died, the first thing I did, and I was pretty new on here, was to go searching for others who had experienced the same type of death. It was really disappointing how many threads I found that were similar, but nobody ever told us all what the final outcome was ... it really would have helped. When mine was back on the road, I was so tired of the issue that I also let it go for a while, as I was just sick to death of the whole thing, but I did eventually make myself go back and wrap it up ... out of gratitude and respect!!!! I think it is the least we can do for those of you who are so generous and kind with your experience and knowledge ... and also Thank you! Please people, if only in this one respect, give back to the site that gave to you. Mike

5X that. I remember when my first problem happened looking at posts and not finding a conclusion. So when I posted up my problem and had responses from everyone on what it could be I went out and tried to figure it out and even if it ended up at the dealers I made sure I updated on what they had replaced or told me it was because I know how it is looking for info and not being able to find out what someone did to fix theirs.

It's like reading a mystery novel and then someone came along and cut the last chapter out of it. So anti-climatic
