nah the front ones got ate up from a bad alignment so i really only have one good one left. going to try and find a used one with close to the same wear. if not i'm just going to get a set of stock size studs i have mounted on some extra wheels and get through winter. just terrible timing. maybe i'll make some cash at the casino in AZ...we are thinking of hitting vagas too so who knows! LOL

Haha I call it the "everything sounds better loud!" Age. I'm trying to achieve concert quality sound from my system. Yes big bass is included in that but so is crystal clear treble and mids.
I've got two 12s in mine along with amped high quality door speakers

Last night after I got home I went through the no-start diagnostic checklist, and one of the steps involved disconnecting the TPS and measuring voltage at the harness. I did that, the voltage checked out, and reconnected the TPS. The next step was to check for a fluctuating PIP value from the PCM while cranking...and when I went to crank it fired right up!

I can now definitely hear the fuel pump cycle on and off when I turn the key, as well as the audible click of the relay that I didn't hear when it wouldn't start. So I think I may have a bad fuel pump relay, and I hope to find time to mess with it further this weekend.

That is how most fuel pumps go out. They will lock up and you won't be able to start the motor and then they work again for a little while. Then lock up again, over and over until one day it locks up and thats it. They very very very (thats 3 verys) rarely go out while driving down the road. They will almost always lock up when shut off and then can't get going again. While running they will sound as normal as any other day.

If it is a fuel pump problem and not the pats, relay, or anything else.

Huh...good to know. I've only replaced one fuel pump in the past, and it was making a hell of a racket when it failed so the diagnosis was easy.

I'm still confident it's an electrical issue of some sort because I couldn't hear the relay click, but I'll definitely keep this in mind. Now that I know where the relay is it would be easy to troubleshoot.

If it is a fuel pump locking up every now and then kicking the bottom of the fuel tank will get it going at least once.

Having some chevies around will make you a fuel pump expert! Like clockwork they start locking up around 80-90K miles.

I did whack the bottom of the tank with the BFH a couple of times Friday evening, and nothing changed. Ten minutes later, after I unplugged and connected the TPS the pump worked just fine like nothing was wrong.

I'd be worried about the other tire, better replace both. How old are they ? Looks more like a manufacturing defect.
