Thats good to hear! See and hear of to many motors being burnt up from ethanol gas, BP is one of the bad ones.

Well we are in a drought still and it hardly rains! Hubby's was a 2wd 6.0. And if it does get muddy I have my beast right here! It has to get pretty darn muddy to trap me in though.

I got Blue all gussied up today at the hand wash, and this afternoon Mr. Mailman left Blue a package! It's the C-Betr mirrors, what a difference.

Only took about 15 minutes to install both sides!

Put diesel in today and came only milliseconds from accidentally filling her with GAS! Right as I reached to squeeze the handle I realized it was black and not green. PHEW.

I helped a girl from MA at the pump today, she was trying her best to put diesel in her Hyundai. The nozzel wouldn't fit, it was just too funny. She tried to squirt it in there anyway.

When I walked up and told her what was wrong she said "but I hit the 87 button" I said "I know you did, but you have to pick up the other one"

I don't know how she made it all the way to central VT from MA, or how she bought a car and got a license. Amazing.

Reminds me of the block game for little kids with the round, square and star shapes, you have to fit them in the correct holes. LOL.

I can hear the exchange in my head. "Yes, I understand you picked 87 but you have to use the hose that fits in your hole."

No, it just wouldn't run. Once you drained and filled with gas, it would just take a while to crank but it would be fine.

Good to know.

I am sort of annoyed today. I am driving the Excursion now and after 3 months of work to build my toy there are a lot of little things that are still not perfect.

I would have more of those little things fixed up except we needed a new clutch cylinder in the Focus and all new electronics in the trailer, fenders on the trailer, etc.

So I have a speedo that is way of that I can't see and all sorts of other little random crap. My guy is doing good work, but now I have to wait until Wednesday for another round of changes. My other buddy has a beamer in Paul's shop.

I think all together Paul has only charged me ~$900 for parts and labor since December. I guess if I really wanted it perfect faster I could go somewhere else and pay more.

Got the 20" Moto Metals w/37" Nitto Mud Grapplers on yesterday. They are cool, but boy do they like to wander. Braking takes a big hit also. I am going in the woods and the mud tomorrow, I'll report back.

I took off the tiny 12" x 18" mud flaps today and mounted up the 24"x24" flaps, don't have a good pic of that but I did it myself. (they are the controversial ugly branded ones from the other thread, but I like them just fine, maybe they will save me from getting pulled over)

More pictures tomorrow, I promise.

I am still super pumped about these wheels and tires I got for $450, even though the tires are pretty smoked it is still fun.

CC are you watching her from inside your house? I do that too! lol

I must be sick in the head because when people pass I don't check on the kids, I check on my beasties!

And I can just see myself crying at the gas tank and trying to ask y'all how one gets gas out of the tank pronto. lol
