History.
One day, Starting knocking at a red light. Continued, on and off since. LL#8.
Started failing CCT on #8 With a reading of 6.9 on the RV
Installed:
International CPS (brought the RV down to 2.9) and started passing CC)
HPX (nothing noticed with anything)
CCK (nothing noticed with anything)
Fuel tank. (nothing noticed with anything)
Up my fuel pressure from 55 to 65. (nothing noticed with anything)
Installed a Reman #8 non LL (AD) injector. Buddy Claimed it was a good one. Still had a lower RV and passed CC) BUT, Knocked also.
Yesterday/Today
Swapped the #8 and #2 injectors. using new orings. (found #2 had a bad oring)
Finished it up today and it has been running for the last hour. Around the neighbor hood. Hot temps today. Engine is at running temp... NO KNOCK for the whole hour at op temp!. Lots of idle time and driving time. I was that kid in the video. I Hope it keeps it up and don't return.
Now what i think. At 1200 RPM it feels like a bad tire on the thruway. At idle It shakes the truck a bit. Really shows up with the laptop monitor shaking. Passes CC test and KOER test. Just fine. No codes with AE. Just a bit of a shake at idle and more so at 1200 RPM. Its my guess that the (now)#2 Reman injector is a PC of crap. You think so to?

Update and last. About 500 more miles. Not a Knock or Tick. And my oil change is almost due.
You think air was being pushed into the oil system and moved onto #8 due to that #2 oring? (which i was extremely lucky in finding and wasn't expecting)
I always was a little embarrassed by the knock. People that don't know our trucks came up to me and was saying "what tha, that thing knocking?" No longer. the motor sounds nice and tight idling now.. yehaaa.
