Hello, all...I've posted a few times here but hadn't posted any photos yet...because of my limited auto talents, I chose to have a shop in town rebuild the front end and completely rebuild the brake system as well...I wanted a truck that was safe and relatively easy to drive, while I fiddle around with the simpler stuff...this truck had an interesting history in this town (San Juan Capistrano, CA)..it was originally purchased by a very prominent farming family to use on their farm...a couple of years later it was traded in at the local Ford dealer, and was promptly snapped up by a long time plumber in the area...then a long time employee, and plumber's helper, bought the truck, fixed it up cosmetically, then decided to part with it...I'm the 4th owner, and it's never been out of our neighborhood! Thanks for all the great info everyone shares at this site...I should have a lot of fun with this truck!...Terry
that looks to be in excellent shape. you keeping it stock. mine went through a flood. so the complete drive train was dead. had mud half way up the doors inside. washed out all of it and starting to modify.
Mike...you can see in these pix from the PO that it was the aquamarine color (he repainted to match, I suspect)...but whether the color you see in these pix was the original color, I'm not sure...it is nice that the truck got painted in it's disassembled state...
Where these Ford script beds Black, or the color of the truck? I have seen pictures both ways. Some of the drawings in the sales literature show matching paint.

I have an original (only one) of the wood stakes..it's painted the body color, which leads me to believe it's original paint...the PO told me this was a work truck for his boss, the plumber, and it makes no sense that he would have bothered to paint the stakes...so the stakes and bed were probably body color..the bed also rides on a wood rail between the frame and bed, and it's body color as well...I had the wheels powder-coated black because I've read that the majority of the 250's came out of the factory that way...
