What would you call it?

It used to be that regular cab trucks were the norm and extended cabs were rare. A crew cab in the 1/2 ton didn't even exist. Then in late 80s extended cabs became more popular and in the 90s crew cabs were made in the 1/2 ton. Now it seems the crew cab is the most popular and the "regular" cab is a rarity. So I would call the crew cab regular. So if the crew cab is regular, what would you call the regular cab? How about the roadster? Mini cab?

Regardless of whether he wrote it to be funny or not, I got a good laugh out of it.

Its just a joke. He was just referring to how rare anything but a regular cab was back in the day. Now all you see is 4 doors really and not so many regular cabs.

Exactly, I got more of a laugh out of the other guys response. Don't take things so seriously.

Now see....I think you were dead serious, but because you got made fun of, you're trying to cover your tracks by saying it was a joke.

In any case, don't worry dude, there are no stupid questions, only stupid people.
