On my way home from work today my oil gauge droped and the oil light came on.I pulled over to check the oil level.When I stopped the gauge went back up to normal and the light went out.The oil level was fine and the truck fired right up,no romps,no rough idle,everything sounded normal.

My question is were is the sending unit for the oil at???

I Think I have a electrial problem!I would like to see if there is a bad connection some where.

The last time I had this prob with a gauge doing this the pick up tube on the oil pump came loose.

 

Top of HPOP reservoir. Look under the bracket (in the first pic of your other thread).

I went and checked the connection and it was loose.Gave it a push and it clicked into place.ALL IS WELL!!
