77 F-350 Dually Question

I've been part of the IDI group on here for years so I know that I am in the right place to find good quality answers. FTE has been the greatest source for answers I have ever found. With that said, I have a question for you guys here. I just picked up a 77 F-350 Dually with the straight 6 and a 4 speed. The truck is 2wd and is going to be used for a farm truck and to pull my skidsteer and other equipment back and forth between my farm and my mothers farm. Currently I have 16 in wheels on the truck but I have a set of 19.5 from another truck that will bolt up to this one but there is not enough clearance on the front end. I am looking to lift the front of the truck to clear the wheels and tires but I don't know the best way to go about it. As for the rear, I am putting my air suspension on with big truck bags, leveling valve, etc so that is covered. I have heard of coil spacers but from previous experiance with my 78 and 79 half tons I know that I will just eat up my steer tires. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

On another note, I have been a huge 70's f series fan my whole life. My first 3 trucks were 78's and 79's. You all have some of the nicest I have seen. Maybe I will try and dig out some pics of my older ones to share with you.

Thank you again.

Troy

Autofab Offroad Trucks is the only one that I know of that sells a lift kit for 2wd trucks. Some say it's pricey, but for what you get, I think its a good price. I dont personally have this on my truck, but it is on the list for the near future...

Here's the link for their "econo" 3" lift
65-79 econo lift

And here's their 5" lift
