In my case, that hasn't worked often with women...how's it supposed to work with a giant cobra?

The most effective interior mod I've ever done.

100% portable, powerful light, no need to worry about wires, and it's adjustable from flood to spot.

Yes, I'm serious.

I just looked at the factory wiring diagrams for a 75 F-100 and I was wrong. Told you it had been a many years. Lol The dome light is grounded on the other side of the light and 12 volts positive goes through the door switches. It's a 15 amp fuse on the stock fuse box. I installed an aftermarket fuse box and rewired everything myself for my truck. Had a bad engine fire. I have a rear utility light so I believe I took power from that circuit so the mirror light switch would work with the doors closed. That runs off the same fuse. F3. I think running off that circuit for your led lights would be ok, unless you run a lot of stuff off you cigarette lighter. It looks like that runs off there to.

Could it be done with a constant hot and grounds at the doors? Or would having two grounds still cause too much power draw? I would think that with a 15A fuse in the hot line, it would not be an issue...but I don't want to find out the hard way.

I don't run anything off of the cig lighter. It is not even hooked up...it's just filling the hole in the dash.

Chad, I like the simplicity of your idea...my cousin has the same setup in his '01 F250 Powerstroke...but having to get in the cab to find the light to be able to get in the cab is something of a self-defeating strategy. Besides, his batteries are always dead...when he even remembers to put the light back in his truck.

The older I get the dumber I get. :)
Also the crummier my eyes are getting at seeing dimly lit stuff.
