Would I be best to get this from a junk yard or are there any good aftermarket places to get one from. 1990 F350 5speed...oh and need new shift ****. Thinking of getting something unique for that, any suggestions??
there's 2 different 5 spds, both shifters are different. pull up the shift boot, and snap us a picture so we know what you have. also send a picture of the damage to the shifter, mabe it can be repaired.
Hey Guys thanks, I will snap some pics tomorrow and post....Im headed to the junkyard Saturday, hehe !! Shes going to be fun to fix up. I call her the blue ghost after the air craft carrier in Corpus Christi Texas.
haha. for my buddy's truck. we bought an 8 pool ball off ebay, drilled a hole in it, and epoxied it on. It looks awesome yet redneck. Wonder why? Lol
Got it off of fleebay.... After a few trips around the bars, with my friends, we got the whole set!! Just watch out drilling those pool *****, fun things to drill. Also got a few bowling ***** too that night.......
I found a junk yard truck that has one, but how the heck do you get it removed. Doesnt look like there any bolt or anything, and it just wount pull off, not even with some tapping with a hammer
How is it bent? Back and to the left? If so, I would bet it was done on purpose to get the shifter closer to the driver. If that's the case I would probably leave it. I plan on doing this to the shifter in my Explorer to get it a little closer.
