AC problem

I have a 93 F150 I am working on installing a 528cu and c6. My problem is when I bought the truck the computer was missing and everything for the AC system was gone from under the hood. I am pretty sure everything is still under the dash though.

Where are some good AC manuals for this 93 body style?
I should be able to make the AC and heat work with out the computer?
What would be my best solution?

The computer has nothing to do with the A/C system other than upping the idle some when it is on and on low powered engines turning off the clutch coil under acceleration.

The basic parts:

All right,,,thank you for the information!!

Do think I would be ahead if I purchased parts for a 96 F250 since I am using a 460 engine?

I think they are about the same except you will have a high pressure cutout on the 96.

Your going to have to forgive my egnorance on the topic at hand.

It take it that the High pressure cut out is some type of relief valve? What is a High Pressure cut out?

I will be turning this engine 5,500-6',00rpm, shoulds I go for a complete serpentine belt system off a late modle 460? Serpentine belts or v-groove belts?

Maybe even 7,000-7,500 when I swap to solid roller and aluminum heads with nitrous.

No it is a pressure switch.

If the pressure gets to hight in the high pressure side it turns off the compressor.
They started using the High Pressure cut out in 1994 and the switch opens at 445 PSI + or - 15 PSI and closes at 260 PSI + or - 30 PSI.

It is in this 1994 wiring diagram:
