Retrofit a back up camera?

I have an early job 1 and missed the option of a back up camera with the display in the mirror. I tried one from Costco which didn't work and wondered if anyone has retrofit the factory unit or if the price would be prohibitive???

Sure would make hooking up the trailer a lot easier!!

Yes, I bought the mirror off the internet and a rear camera that is on the license plate frame. From the inside you get the same picture minus the distance bars ford added. On the outside you can hardly tell the camera exists. I hooked the switch to an upfitter instead of reverse so I can turn it on to check on the hitch and wiring while travelling. Hope this helps.

Backup Camera System, Rear View Camera Mirror

Got both this mirror and the camera from this site. The mirror is the same company that makes them for Ford so it looks identical. There are several options for the camera based on what works for you.

BTW- I can hitch up by myself the first time every time! It's great.
