Fuel in the coolant system
Well I noticed that i have about 2 inches of what appears by smell to be fuel in my coolant system. Now from reading prior postings, I understand it the injector cups? I also was told by another guy its some kinda valve, so anyhow anyone pint me in the right direction as to what it is, or what it might cost to fix up? and can i do it myself how involved are these procedures. Yous guys' help is greatly appreciated.

Choice is up to you if you are going to replace all eight cups.If not when all injectors are out pressure up the radiator to 10-15 psi.Look into all eight holes you will see copper sleeves. Injector Sleeves can crack or pin hole or seep water near the tip of the injector copper.Tools needed are a very large tap which you will cut threads into the cooper then remove the sleeve with a small slide hammer.New sleeves are swegded into the cylinder head with another tool thats shaped like an injector tip to hammer into position. Then there is a final tool to cut and clean up the injector bore. Not a lot of fun doing this humped over with engine in truck though.

ok here we go, so i got the bug since they have the injectors out to go ahead and do some upgrading, after an awesome half hour talk with bob at dieselsite, he set me straight to what I NEEDED! So what I am now doing is f course replacing the cups but i think i might be getting robbed, the price for labor went from 850 ish at drop off to 1300 this morning to 1500 possibly since they have to remove the AC! I call BS but we will see. so back to my needs, going with alliant AC singleshot injectors, dieselsites regulated return system, and a tuner that will learn my computer to fire the singleshots right. added bonus, its a tuner so i get lotsa power options!
