Wow! That's all? I got 6 out of my OEM.
Motorcraft 6500 or 8500, Interstate, Sears Die Hard.
Sears usually has good deals on the Gold series.
I wouldn't go below 650 cca though.
i just changed mine 2 months ago, they were 7 yrs old, i bought some from costco, the kirkland brand, everything seems good. amazing how much better the truck starts when you got fresh batteries in there. i think the cranking amps were 1050 and 850 at 32F allthough i would have to look to make sure
I paid about $75 a piece for my DuraLast Golds from AutoZone. Good warranty, and I think they're 850 CCA/1000 CA.
I'm thinking about getting those myself, 1000 CA is very appealing. They're also easier to swap out than if you went to the dealer. It's just a matter of pulling up to any Autozone and you have a new battery, no questions asked.

Yeah, that was one of my reasons. I needed batteries, but was deployed at Tyndal AFB, FL. There was an AutoZoo on the way to base down there, and there's one walking distance from my house. LOL....
EDIT: That price has gone up though -- I think they're more like $85-$90 a piece now.

Yeah, I saw that youmentioned you got some for $75, so I called AutoZone and they said $99. It's better than almost $200 a battery
I have the interstate 850's with the 84 month warranty I believe. The first 36 is free replacement, then they are prorated from there. Now if I had to do it all over again, I think I would go to WalMart and get their version. They are cheaper and there is a Walmart EVERYWHERE but Chicago and San Francisco, and I ain't going to be in either city anytime soon.

Oh wow -- they went up more than I thought!! WM might have the same class of battery cheaper.
I just looked at AutoZone.com -- they are indeed $99 each, but are 875 CCA/1000 CA batts (I said 850 CCA before). 3 year free replacement warranty, 8 year prorated. Not too bad. I'm coming up on 2 years with mine, and no problems so far...
