Did you have to rob a Kubota dealership to get that orange paint?

Maybe some of us are just too old. I was thinking a 350 with Muncie 4 speed when I saw those pics. I don't understand the Chevy orange either, but I bet that will really stand out when you open the hood.

Nice work on this so far Kris.

My engine is orange, so that's why i did it. Something to stick out of the bottom of the truck like a sore f'n thumb. The pan is going to be black on the bottom, and most of that orange is hidden. I know it looks gaudy like that, however once installed, most of that will not even be seen. Im anxious to see how it looks when installed.

I thought you had your train horns mounted where your spare tire use to be. Also I can see where you got the International orange idea, put some black pin stripes down it .

Black pin stripes, they will come soon enough as soon as the oil gets some carbon in it.

Lets just look at it and not talk about the six figures that is currently wrapped up in the truck...

I forgot you added another set of horns earlier this year. So will we see some running before christmas?

Yeah, robbie.. crowers arent supposed to be put in backwards, or you could seriously mess some S up. I took the motor all apart, put new coated rod bearings in, measured damn near everything, matched the rods up to the crank journals and got all the oil clearances within .00315 to .00325" on 8, and then matched the wristpin/piston set to the respective cylinder. Put it all together with the rods facing the RIGHT way and NO missing spots at the back corners of the rear main seal plate, and now we shall see how it runs. Hopefully B Quiet comes tomorrow, then i can at least get that on, and the engine/transmission stuck in place tomorrow. I hope to hear it running, by err say sunday? No lady to bother me, should work out good.

I am interested in seeing her fire with such low compression, you have glowplugs now don't you?
