well that was way too much reading.... but there is no way anyone is getting that kinda mileage with these truck when actually using them unless they are in the Praries (flat lands) with the wind at their back at those kinda speeds
I am sure it's in there somewhere but what are your numbers Litres/miles and Km's/gallons
I run a lifted 1-ton with 37's 3.73 gearinig and the BEST i have ever got is 560 km on 90 liters... For my numbers and that was coming back into BC from Calgary some flat and some nasty mountains but I bet my average speed was 70 km or less an hr, almost 8hrs for that trip it was black ise the whole way so there was no racing. I have got many tanks in the low 300 km range.
Given i have a big truck, big tires and so forth so i dont ecpect a lot but DO NOT buy based on what these guys are saying... if you are getting 10MPG now expect 13-15, if you are getting 20mpg Stock (and some say they are, but no number to back them) expect the same 3-5 in gains.
WOW I waas trying to be short to save all this reading so to make it short expect 3-5 MPG gains, but the "fun factor" is worth it... Two Thumbs up to Spartan and SCT, I have had both.

So, do you currently have your dpf removed? and your getting 15 ?

Ya it fell off about a year ago and it is what is for mileage , it wieghs in at over 8500pnds. Given I do have a heavy foot but even when I do try i only only get 450 - 500km with mixed but mainly hi way driving; for the most part I only get 350-400km Mixed (all with 85-90 litres)
This is the 275 tune, Down pipe back exaust with S&B with mixed driving where there is very little flat ground.

Not sure what to say but I know what my #'s are saying and that's really all that matters to me. I am running STOCK tires and STOCK suspension and most of my driving as I think I stated is on flatter ground and not throught the mountains. I don't doubt for one second that you don't do as well with bigger tires and driving through the mountains especially driving at 70km/hr and basically lugging the engine along at that speed. I reset everything this morning and drove 140km's of highway between Calgary and Red Deer (fairly flat for those not familiar). Had my cruise set at 122km/hr the entire way and dash was saying 25.5MPG in English mode and 8 avg liters/100km in Metric mode. Once again I have nothing to gain by posting made up #'s and for those that don't believe me, I could care less. FACT of the matter is that I put 140km's on my truck this morning and it's still telling me 620km til empty so you do the math. As I stated before I have not driven on the highway for an entire tank and figured out mileage with time spent idling or warming up at startups but I am telling you what it says when I am driving on the highway. If someone can tell me how to post videos on here I can videotape what it says while I am driving and other than that not much I can do to make believers out of the doubters out there.

Just wondering if you have adjusted for your tire size because that will make a highly noticeable difference..Try it..

Well guy's doubt all you want, I'm stick'n with my original #'s. Most of my driving is between Edmonton and Peace River, Edmonton and Bon Accord. I just filled up tonight, I had 1/3 tank left (titan 185L tank). Well I put in 336L total, trip meter said 1835 km's. You guy's do the math. 1080 km's was highway, rest was city driving, sleds on the deck, smok'n dodges in the city. So what's that about 20.7 km's gal or 12.94 mpg avg. Pretty good I'd say! The truck has spent too much time idling too.
You got noth'n to lose!
Keep her pinned BD.

If up is down and down is up, what is the difference?
Well guy's I guess it is figured, put different amounts of fuel in your tanks to credit your numbers, sound good. What would I gain by doing this?
So here is my final word on this, I gained 45-48% better mileage either way, it is 15mpg, 20mpg, 25mpg.
My lie-O-meter read, 18-19l/100kms, now it reads 9-10l/100kms. Oh and before I would leave for work with a 3/4 tank of fuel and would not make it. Left last time and showed up with 1/2 tank. Wow, somebuddy must have filled me on the way???
When I towed this summer I averaged 6-8 mpg, too ashamed to post l/100km. Will see what I get now. Hey SCT owners, stock drivers, I really don't care, put em on the line and I will race ya, if that don't impress ya, maybe when I drive by the fuel pumps, that may???
Hey who know's???
I can only tell ya 45-48% gain??? Oh and who likes getting beat off the line by Dodges and Nissans???
Keep er "To the pin and grin fella's".
