What the best tire to pull with?
I'm building a stock pulling truck and I dont know what tires to run My truck should have plenty of power to turn 33 or 35 tires because it has a 514 CI engine a C6 and a 205 case and a Dana 60 front and a 14 bolt rear axle in it I also need to figure out what gears to go with what size tires i run

I was just talking to a puller today, and he says his 4.11's are too high. He's planning on going with high fives, or low sixes (6:18's ?), soon. On top of that he just bought a 'hot shot' or big shot', or something, nitrous. Apparently he competes in more than one class. I think the stock class and some others?

I have a couple friends who are big into pulling, they like allmost bald super swamper boggers, they give a nice grip, but if they are new, they just dig and pile dirt in front of the sled. They just went to running pro comp X-terrain's and love them they pull great, and are also very good on the street, not to aggressive, but work great.

This year i pulled 4 times and three times I run 33x14x16.5 boggers and i didnt do to good but my other tires are 35 General mud tires and they were to tall for the 4.10 gear and my 400 engine and the engine couldn't get the rpms up that high so I run the boggers because they are shorter
The digging part about the new boggers could be right because i would spin out before some people would
The new boggers do dig good the first time I pulled I broke a drive shaft
