Thanks Bud! I was very busy. I'm really happy with the way that it came out. Now that I have it all set if any of you guys were close I would make them up for you.

You got it Jacob! Are you going to build it in school as a project?

Nice job Jim. I've been trying to get around to mine for awhile but we got put back on OT and now its hunting season. I have a template that I found on here and I see yours is a little different. I would probably be interested in one myself. I had planned to weld mine together anyway. I would also be curious about the temp readings you get.

Thanks Sean & Leo.

Leo I'd be more than happy to send you one. I have a few to do!! I'm (hopefully) leaving for Florida on the 16th. I'm trying to find a temp guage local. All I can find here start at 100* F. I'll have to keep on looking.

No I got lots of stuff to do in my manufacturing and welding classes or I'd have to wait until after semester to get a welding class where you could build what you want. I might be able to have access to a nice shop with a little 110V welder and lots of tools and some friends to help and a guy who knows his way around a 7.3L PSD to supervise. How much did you spend on the sheet metal Jim?

I got the sheet metal for free Jacob. IIRC you can get a 4x4 piece from Home Depot for around $25. It is a nice project for you!! Does he have a bender at his shop.

I was gonna weld the whole thing, but we might be able to bend the sheet metal by hand??? I might be talking to my uncle to see if he has any sheet metal He does have a nice collection of metal bought from a local welder who moved because he got a welding job for an excavating company.

Welding it may be tough Jacob. There is an offset in the bottom of the box. You may be able to bend it by hand using a couple of pieces of flat stock by hand, depending on the guage.

Hey Jim why did you put the battery in front of the filter? I'm kinda planning of having the batt behind the CA box.

I did toy with the idea of putting it behind the filter. It would have taken some modifications to the intake tube. Plus the battery wires would have to be lengthened. There is a lot of air flow there. I have heard the whoosh of the air going out back through the filter because there is is more air than the turbo can use.
