What part # is that? I'm not seeing any 1000 CCA Interstate batteries that are for the 6.0L. The MTP-65 is only 850 CCA and 1000 CA.


The Bosch batteries are on sale at Pep Boys now as low as $79.99 each (according to their weekley ad circular).


Also another solution to the OP issue is to get a solar type charger/conditioner. If the vehicle is parked outside (as most SD trucks are), then it would keep the batteries charged while sitting for extended periods of time. They run about $100 at Northern Tool but I'm sure you could find one cheaper on the net.

The MTP-65 are all you need.I have a set in my 99 that I have ran 4+ years and have never had any problems.
