1980 Ford F100 Curb Weight

Looking at buying a 1980 Ford F100, and I'd like to know about how much it weighs curbside:

2WD, 300 I6, C6, Swiss cheese frame (in perfect shape), standard cab with high 4x4 floor (custom, no options except power steering), 94-ish Alcoa ford wheels, and a Flareside with wood bed boards.

I heard this particular configuration truck was very very light. Almost muscle car light. ...

My truck sounds just like the one your wantin cept the colors different. My sticker shows 5000 somethin...Now i've got a longbed and i imagine that adds a couple hundred pounds, but it shouldn't be that much of a difference...

I once saw a figure that said between 3400-3500 for the '80 F100 2WD with the Flareside. At first I thought it was just BS, but with no options, plastic fenders and the frame as it is that year... Just maybe?

The sticker referred to is the Gross allowable weight including payload, I believe. An F100 wouldn't weigh 5000 lbs.

GVWR is not curb weight. the MSO for my truck said 4700lbs, it has a 1000lb payload (cargo+people) - making it 3700lbs.

The weak link being the rear springs. (I am considering swapping springs from an 89 F150 4x2 when I do the 8.8 conversion in a week)
