New toys for F250

I have a 99 F250 2WD I just put on the dynastar leveling kit works great but had issues with brakes lines so going a new route now. I just order the pro comp 6" lift , 4 procomp 18x9 rims and 4 procomp 325-60-18 extrem AT tires from Austin 4wheelparts . Now I feel like a kid waiting for christmas waiting for the packages to arrive. I will post pic once things get here and during to install. Hopefully this will be what I want.

So what'd the lift cost you? I got the wheels I want...

Was the a DAYstar leveling kit you used? Or... ? I've not heard of the brand you posted. How high did it lift the front? Was it just spring spacers?

the 6" lift cost me 829.00 I think I miss spelled the leveling kit but it raised the front of my truck up alittle over 2" spacers, stud extender, and procomp 9000 shocks. The leveling kit with shock's cost me 215.00

You're going to wish you had gotten the 325/65/18s, 33s on a 6" lift are going to look small.

I guess I just could never understand the need to lift and spent better then a couple thousand in lifts and tires for a two wheel drive truck..just useless if ya ask. Just my .02.

Just a street queen. I'm actually surprised they make lifts that size for 2wd trucks.

i agree. but thats what makes everyones truck original. alot of people who have huge lifts and tires and spend many many thousands never even take their trucks off pavement either.

i would say most never do any wheeling that warrants a lift and big tires. they just do it for the look. which is cool, but not for me.. hey how many giant trucks have you seen that are 4wd but don't even have the front driveshaft in because they dont have the right shaft or its not set up for that big of a lift and they would just be breaking u-joints left and right

For me, I don't need 4WD for traction on the lava rock but I do need the ground clearance. Especially the approach angle.

Even with my lifted 4WD truck (03 Avalanche) I rarely use the 4WD. I can do most everything with 2WD but need the ground clearance for most trails.

I needed the lift to get more ground clearance. I do commercial construction and on the job site before they get leveled and paved, I need to be able to get on the site. I have takin my 2wd drive in places where alot of the other guys got stuck with there 4wd. Not everybody goes out wheeling but still have a need for more clearance. With the 6" lift I could fit 37 pretty easy. The 325 fit now with the leveling kit but to get 100% turning I need to lift it up and the only kit for my truck is the 6"
