Cut out upon hard acceleration

I've had a promblem lately I just want to throw it out there, I think it may be CPS related. I haven't done the recall. When I get on my truck hard (I know I shouldn't with 3.65 a gallon) but during hard acceleration it will momentarily "die" , The WTS light will come on, wait a second..... it's running again!..

Is this a CPS symtom?

I figured I'm going to go check all on my important connecters on my engine (IPR, etc.) It has developed after a HPOP oring change

CPS will usually leave you stranded or at the very least, make you restart the engine. Sounds like you are running out of fuel. Maybe a dirty fuel filter? Weak fuel pump?
Do you get any CEL?

You know, I was thinking driving down the road the other day I probably need to change my fuel filter. I'll change it anyways and get back. Thanks No CEL btw

Let us know if the fuel filter doesn't fix it.

You need to check your chip and the connection. If it continues, pull the chip and see if it does it without the chip. Might be a corrupt tune.

Good point. One of these days I'm going to be smart enough to read the signaute line before I reply.

If all connections checks out okay, check to see it it stored a code, especially P0123. There was a problem with accelerator pedal voltage sensor readings on some of these trucks. On my '00 it usually happened when pedal was mashed to the floor.
