Exhaust "Q"

Would it be worth doing an exhaust upgrade without any other MODS?

Exhaust was the first mod I did to my 7.3. I could tell a big difference from stock. 4" from the turbo back. I am running a hog exhaust system. I like the sound and the tips they use. I'm sure you have a good idea of what you want, but start looking and listening to other 7.3 that have made the change. So many otpions. Good Luck!

I forgot that Hog makes a standard exhaust which is louder and one that is quieter. I went with the quieter and I have no drone at any speed.

i put a 4'' system from the turbo straight back to the rear bumper and a 5" tip without the muffler. i could tell a difference in performence cruising around town on the interstate or flogging it, not like a turner or chips but i could tell. love the sound. it took me about 2 hours to install. the only other mod i've done is the 6637, and love the turbo wine!

When I first did mine I could tell there was a difference in power and fuel economy, not a great deal but every little bit helps.

you will definitely notice the truck being more "snappy" by just doing exhaust. You can REALLY wake that truck up by exhaust, tuner, and intake together......they work best together!
