Exchanged the Duraspark box with a known good one from a different truck I scapped a while back... and it is still acting up. I'll check the ignition coil and disassemble/inspect the distributor tomorrow. Anyone know the resistance specs for the ignition coil windings? I thought they were listed on the old Sun Tune-up cards...
Any other suggestions???

How many miles on this engine ?
Hi-Miler ?[/QUOTE]
A few thousand since the rebuild, maybe about 6000 or so. Distributor may have as much as 140,000 on it though. Tomorrow it has an appointment on the operating table (workbench).
When watching the timing marks under the timing light, they are nice and steady (not jumping or bouncing around) when the engine is idling and revved.
BTW, Thank you very much for the resistance specs. Exactly what I needed!
