Yeah, how about one...or two.

Both the 1973/77 & 1978/79 Grille Shells are STILL AVAILABLE FROM FORD!!

D6TZ8200-A .. Grille Shell = 1973/77 F100/350

Ford list price: $450.62 / FTE member net price: $ 318.50
-------------------------------------------------------------------
D8TZ8200A .. Grille Shell = 1978/79 F100/350

I don't think that is correct, there are no more NOS 78/79 grills in stock. I am praying you are right and I am wrong. I looked for the link you talked about, I must be blind because I did not see it.

I went to that Ford dealers main web site and sent an email though, like I said I hope I am wrong. I hate the overseas crappy shell that is on my SC F350 right now.

You don't think that's correct?

Well, where do you think I got those prices from, a crystal ball?

If the part number was obsolete..the message sez: NO PARTS FOUND.

What I typed earlier I researched earlier...all you have to do is the same thing I did.

Do NOT believe what Ford dealers tell you about what parts are or are not available. Most could care less. They don't want to bother, and give y'all the brush-off. I bothered for 35 years, and am bothering here on FTE.

I see this crappola every day here on FTE.

The website parts locater that Direct (and every other Ford dealer in N/A uses) is operated by Ford Motor Company. Once again..if the parts are obsolete, there will be no price info...just: no parts found.

The link is on the FTE forum main page. You may have to refresh more than once to get it to appear.

When the link comes up, click on it...that will take you to the site and there will be a place to type in the part number.

Type d8tz8200a, (or d6tz8200a for 73/77) then select Ford, hit submit.

Both the list and net prices will come up. That's all there is to it.

You know, I went to a few sites (I'll have to try and find it again) and typed in the 73/77 grill shell number and it came up. Actually a couple of sites for different prices. So.....I went ahead and ordered one, then a couple days later, I get an email saying "that part is no longer available". I couldn't figure out why I typed many other Ford Part Numbers and never got anything, but the grill shell came up with price and everything, but they told me "not available". Maybe they gave me the brush off. I don't know. I'm going to see if I can find those sites again.

Well here is a couple that comes up:

http://www.directfordparts.com/partl...&siteid=214290

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=213787

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=214775

Those are just three that still list it. But, again, I tried to order and they told me "no".
