I just went thru this.

Good Sam's offers an emergency roadside assistance that covers trailers...not sure about horse trailers.

I went with Allstate RV coverage. $100 per year...covers me and my wife for ANY vehicle we are driving. Trip interruption, bail bond...the typical road side assistance coverage...PLUS it covers atv, trailers and RV's...again I'd ask specifically about horse trailers.

UNLIMITED distance towing...sign and drive...meaning you don't have to pay and get reimbursed...they will tow your truck and/or trailer to the NEAREST service center for NO CHARGE...no maximum usage per year...

When you join...you can pay $8 per month on your credit card if you prefer.

The link to Allstate products is
http://www.allstatemotorclub.com/amc/faces/app/member_services/plans/plans.jspx

The Good Sam's road side gives you an $80 first year for Good Sam MEMBERS and $90 for NON members.

Joining Good Sam's costs $12/year $33/3 years...if anyone is intereted just PM me...the 'normal' rate is $19/year (I've got some discount coupons)

So I just wanted to say the Allstate product seemed to be the best for me and my situtation...but I tow a TRAVEL TRAILER...

Good luck!
joe.
