Shockwarehouse/Billstein fess up.

Looks like too many of us placed orders for Bilstein shocks. I placed an order for the rear shocks and front stabilizer on Monday, September 24. I did not receive any telephone call, and no confirmation. I inquired today. As info. I am now at a loss. Any other ideas?

Part of my email to SHOCK WAREHOUSE EARLIER today:
I am concerned because I see on the Ford Forum that you are in a back order situation on these billstein shocks.

And then their reply:

"We apologize to you and people on the forum. Here is the email address(my email address ommited.)
The 2 confirmations were sent to suggest you check your spam folder. You should have received a phone
call from one of our people today telling you about the backorder

WE are not on backorder on BE5-C296. The whole country is on backorder.
Bilstein the manufacturer has been on backorder for a month. We talk to
Bilstein daily and we have been told 2 release dates October 3rd and
December 15th. We are waiting for physical delivery to confirm these dates.

The closest replacement is the KYB Monomax 565091 if you cannot wait. It
is the closest monotube replacement to the Bilstein.

Please call us with questions 800-245-7469. Again we apologize."

I ordered mine yesterday and got a confirmation later the same day from UPS that the the delivery was in process. They are scheduled to arrive on Friday.

I'm new to this site although I've been registered a long time. Some of the threads I searched mentioned the place I got them from, and one response mentioned that it was a supporting vendor, but I'm not 100% sure. I checked prices and they were competitive, so I ordered them.

If I confirm that they're a supporting vendor, then I follow up with the recommendation. If not, I'll keep it to myself...
