Right turn signal will not turn off

I am having a similar problem. I turned left into my neighborhood today and the right turn signal turned on and stayed on. It blinks as well, and the lights work. The hazard light switch turns on all four turn signals and they all work.

If I turn the left signals on, nothing happens, the vehicle still keeps on blinking the right signals.

Do you think I need a new turn signal lever?

Thanks,

Steve

Turn Flasher Trouble

I thought the same and ordered a new lever assembly installed it, things seemed ok but the same trouble came back after a short time driving. Then I finely changed the TURN SIGNAL FLASHER, (much easier said then done). with a new Ford replacement. That fixed the problem, switched the old lever assembly back in the streering column, everything still working fine two months later. It definitely was the flasher all along.

Thanks!

Where is the flasher located? Do you happen to have a part number?

It is in an out of the way spot just to the driver's side of the center of the dash. It is in a spot with two other flasher/relays under a protective plastic cover. If you remove the package hook (small panel under the heater controls held with two 10mm screws). Once it is off you can look with a flashlight towards the drivers side they are hard to reach. I got to mine by removing the Insulator panel (excursion) around the brake pedal, next was the heater duct held with one nut at the bottom of the dash frame seen when you remove the Fuse panel cover. Once that small (about one ft long) heater duct is removed you reach up and feel the flasher/relays up just on the other side of a steel dash reinforcement. It was one of three in a row as I said under a protective cover. Sorry I am not sure which one of the three it is and I am having no luck finding the box it came in for the part number. Hope this is some help.

Problem Solved

There is one flasher relay for both the turn signals and the hazard lights. The relay has a separate input for the turn signals and the hazards The input for the turn signals fails in the integrated circuit of the flasher relay thus causing the turns signals to be intermittent or fail while the hazard lights still operate.
Replace the flasher relay.
