Point of a V10?
To create unnecessary arguments between the merits of a V10 and a diesel while also belittling the lower V8 gasoline models.
And yes I've taken part in those.
All I can say in favor of it is that the V10 is still offered in the 450/550/650. Must be some sort of demand for it still in the heavier truck market......
Oh yea I forgot. I couldn't find a diesel in my price range with similar attributes (CC, low miles, XLT, and fairly new). For the same price I could get triple or quadruple the miles and a body that was ready to pop rust holes in a year or so with a diesel drivetrain. Also no one on the planet seems to want the combo I have (CC,DRW,Short bed) so it was even less that what it listed for on all the used car value sites. Up until recently it was still valued at more than what I paid for it (yes I know some of those sites reach high but even still)
