OEM Air Filter - Replacement Cost

OEM Motorcraft filter has the blue synthetic filter media and some sell the sane filter but with the white cellulose filter media.
Obviously, cellulose is cheaper than the synthetic, but the blue synthetic is moisture resistent (both made by Donnelson who is the OEM manufacture), but I think WIX is either an aftermarket filter of the cellulose version... which should be cheaper.
In my gallery are pics of each for comparison (look at the "airfilter" gallery).
Spend the money and get the blue synthetic/OEM filter!!!

For me... it is worth it to let them do it and hassel with the "tight fit".

Beach: After reading all the chatter, I think your right about sticking with OEM on this...blue synthetic. I can handle paying dealer cost for something with a service interval of 30-50K.
For those of you that were curious about what dealer was withholding part numbers: Worthingon Ford--Anchorage, Alaska.
Strangest thing, if you ask me.
