X broken into

Our X was broken into today in broad daylight. We were at the hotel in Miami and I got a phone call from the truck stating that the alarm was going off. I then proceded to run down stairs and found a 350 lbs thug sitting in the front passenger seat tearing my truck apart. From that point on he shoved me out of the way to get back in is Escalade EST and drive off. I ran around the opposite side of the hotel and chunked a grapefruit sized rock at the truck (unfortunatly missing) but I did get most of the tag number and a good description. Less than a minute later the police arrived and too a report. To bad it is not like CSI Miami and they could just look up the car type and first half of the plate and find the friggin a hole. I will post some pictures here in a minute.

Bryan

Oh, I forgot to say that we DID stop him from actually stealing everything, the only thing that he damamged was one screen and the actual alarm (luckily it was a secondary unit) :-)

U should have gotten into ur truck and use ur steel stock bumper to ram his plastic bumper hahaha $60,000 dollar suv and it has a plastic bumper.

Anyways, thats shady as hell. What does some low life who already has a $60,000 dollar suv need to brake into ur truck? Doesn't he already have the money to afford things? Unless he stole the Escalde.

At least they didnt get away with anything. Look at it this way you are both safe and it wasnt a car jacking. It could have been alot worse. Just good to hear that you are all ok and you still have yuor ride. Good Luck

should have had your concealed handgun with you and blew his happy *** away. You would have done everyone a favor (except for that blood you would have gotten on your truck)

I guess some people are to greedy. If he didnt steal that caddy and made good money, then whats the point of trying to get caught stealing things and risking jail time?

When I was in college I had a Jeep Wrangler & I caught some guy trying to steal my stereo while my jeep was in the parking lot at the apartments I lived at. The guy jumped in his car & took off before I could get him but I grabed the small sledge hammer that I kept on the floorboard of my Jeep for "just in case" type situations. At my apartments there was one way in & one way out and I lived on the side in the back, the guy trying to steal my stereo had to drive all the way around to get out which gave me enough time to run to the exit just as he was coming by. I side armed that sledge hammer at his car as he was coming toward me and it bounced off his hood, putting a huge dent in it, and then went through his windshield basically caving it in on the passenger side - unfortunately it didn't go through the drivers side or it would have gotten him right in the mouth. I figured I cost him a whole lot more $$$ than he cost me.
