Thumbs down 2003 Lincoln Aviator transmission / ignition

Has any one had this? My 2003 Aviator with 70,000 miles "bucks" as I gently accelerate at highway speed as if the trans keeps shifting. The check transmission light came on but dissapeared after I restarted. The next time it happened I got a "P0732" code (gear 2 incorrect ratio) this code also dissapeared after stopping the motor. Some one said this "bucking" can be caused by a bad "coil-on-plug" ingnition coil.

Is there an easy way to diagnose bad COP coils?

Hello and Welcome to FTE!

Sorry to hear about your problem. You will need to post your question in one of the tech forums since this one is only used for introductions. I recommend this one: Expedition and Navigator

There are also transmission forums and may be worth your time to give them a look.

Enjoy the site!
