My Father in law has a 1996 F350 4x4 with some broken leaf sprngs on the rear. According to the label on the Drivers door its spring code is T4F. F is the rear spring code. Every junk yard I have called says that have code A but no code F. Does anyone know if the code A will fit? He does tow a bobcat everyday but any F350 or even F250 spring pack should be able to handle a bobcat, right? Any other suggestions on what spring packs would be a good replacement. I called some Spring shops and they wanted $200 bucks for a new spring pack per side and most JY's were asking $50-$70.

Don't know about the spring codes and their ratings, but you'll want to make sure that the replacement springs are the same width as the original one. Some trucks had 2.5" wide springs while others used 3" wide ones.
