Question Fuel tank and splitter

In my recent adventures of solving a fuel problem,I removed the fuel tanks and found no strainers on the end of the fuel lines. Thier wasn't any parts floating around in the tank, just a little tube at the end of the fuel line that looked to b part of a strainer. Could the strainer b suck up in the fuel line and b trapped in the splitter and would it damage the splitter? When I try to blow out the fuel lines, thier seem to b some blockage.

I think there's a check valve built in to prevent reverse flow.

No filter "sock"?
