Well, I used a little bit of all 3 methods,LOL. I needed to replace the serpentine belt so I went ahead and removed the alternator as suggested by Wildman25.
That made it easy to get to the #1 plug. The 2-3-4 plugs were removed after I moved the air valve mentioned by GeneW.
I had the PS front wheel off checking and lubing the caliper slides and I wanted to see what kind of access to the plugs that provided. Not much, as it's hard to get up in there unless you have it lifted real high. I did have a clear shot for installing #2 though. Thanks all for the tips...
