F250 Airbag light blinks and stays on!

I think I would still check under the steering wheel and the column wiring. There is going to be something wrong with the wiring to the driver's side airbag. Check that clockspring too, maybe it has come undone somewhere and is touching metal. Or the harness in the column has a bare wire and is touching metal somewhere.

welcome to FTE Sean.
air bag code 2-7 then solid light means the passenger side lockout light bulb is burned out.
good news is it is an easy fix, i think i paid $1.99 for two bulbs at radio shack.
took the lock switch out, popped it apart, changed the bulb and put it back together and back in in less than 45 minutes.

i used radio shack part #272-1141.
unsolder the burned out bulb, strip the insulation off the leads, pre tin the leads, then solder them in the board ans set the light wherever you want it.i leave the passenger airbag turned off, so i just have the bulb tucked in the switch assembly instead of in the hole so you can see it.
oops, looks like that bulb is out of stock at radio shack, they probably stopped selling them since they pretty much no longer sell electronics parts and switched to cell phones and gadgets.
any small 12 volt bulb will work though.

Hi. I am new here so not sure how to post yet but I have a similar problem to the reply here. Thank you in advance for your help.
I have a 2001 F250 Crew cab with 68,900 miles. My airbag dash code flashes 3 times and then six times then it stay solid. It has a new battery, airbag has not deployed, but I did find that the driver seat airbag sensor cable was pulled and no longer attached to my driver seatbelt. I replaced the seatbelt with airbag sensor attached from the Junk yard and it still flashes (did this with 2 seatbelts). Thank you for your help
