antifreeze leak/cyl head
Hello, i've got a '93 ranger with a 4.0 V6. it just turned over 100,000 miles and has an antifreeze leak coming from behind the drivers side motor mount. I suspect a head gasket or cracked head. it's using a bunch, about 1 gallon per week. no water in the oil or anything. Does anybody know if these engines were prone to cracked heads or head gasket leaks? appreciate any advice I can get. Thanks, Kent

That would be a pretty big leak for a headgasket, you should also consider a possible leaky lower intake gasket.
