Ever since I got my '99 F250 CC SB 4X4 in April I have had rare opportunity to measure highway mileage since I've either been towing the camper or piddling back and forth two miles to work and back. Last week I took her on an empty road trip (2 lane road 55mph speed limit, cruise set at 63mph, 100 degrees F, A/C running on MAX) and calculated my mileage at 13.7 MPG. My '96 Tahoe I had previously would only get 14.5 on its best day. I was very happy with the mileage. It's bone stock with LT265/75/R16 tires, toneau cover, and 143,000 miles.

Happy . . .
My on board dash computer says I get 18.3 MPG running on the hwy for 100+ mile drives, all on cruise going 75 to 80. Use a SCT Xcal 2 w/ Street or Performance tune w/ ERG off, 4" turbo back exh, Airaid cold air intake, & Accufab Intake tube.
It shows 15.2 in city driving.
Hand cal shows something less but that includes startup, idleing, city & hyw, all together.
Hope this helps . . .

My truck is a 2000 with 4" lift and 35" tires. Only other mods are single in single out FM40 and a drop in K&N filter in the stock air box.
My F250 just got 12 driving from Colorado to California and back.
My Excursion on the other hand that is totally stock has gotten 16.7 on the same trip.
