There is nothing arrogant with being cautious regarding rumors whether they be of an industrial nature or personal.
But, there is no need to be arrogant about it as sglaine appeared to be. A rumor is merely that. Nothing more nothing less.
At this point in time the 6.4 forum is for fun and wishful speculation. Kudos to site management for allowing us the opportunity to have fun with it. Some folks, unfortunately, don't seem to get that.
In the past there have been fun threads that were locked because of one person. Thankfully, that did not happen to the two 6.4 threads he was involved with.

As an FYI, this the following info was posted by a KY plant emplyee on another site:
"07' Superduty will be Navistar 6.4L twin turbo. There will be some major changes in design. All new frame, all new interior and instrument panel etc.
Some were built at the plant this past week on line 1. I believe line 2 will build a few in the next week...."
"...We built some 07' SD's over the past couple of weeks. A few frame line changes. The front of the frame in front of the axle drops way down. This will help with frontal crash tests....Heavier front springs on 4x2. Cab is basically the same, but interior is major reworked. ...Rear bumper looks like F- 150 style. Hood has a more raised cowl look. You are going to have to wait until Nov. 2006 to see any on dealer lots. Job 1 production is suposed to be first week of Oct. 2006, which is about 3 months later than normal." <!--emo&--><!--endemo-->
And this from another poster:
"The re-design is a closely guarded secret but i did find out that there are 5 2007 test mules with the 6.4L at the Arizona proving grounds"
Both of these posters are said to be affiliated with Ford.

I read that too
That site is where I read about the big order for the 7.3 engine block. I really hope they are right that Nov next year.
