I have a 2005 f250 crew cab XLT(no power sliding rear window). I would like to put a sub box behind the rear seat. What I would like to do is find a box that will fill up the entire area behind the seat when I remove that rear panel. Most boxes I see are small and would not look good when the panel is removed. Some boxes say I can leave the panel there but trim it a little bit, I would like to stay away from that. I plan to put 2 10 inch Rockford Fosgate subs back there when I find the right box. I once saw a picture on this forum of someone who had something similar, but I can not find it any more. Does any body have a good place for me to look, picture of a similar box, or good idea? Or am I going to have to buil my own box (never built a sub box before). thanks CC

 

you might try looking into JL audio's "stealthbox". they are a bit pricy.... approx. $475.00, and come with subs matched to the airspace in the box. they are a completely custom fit application for each vehicle..... i know they make one for my style truck that actually fits inside the stock front middle seat..... super clean appearance.

I have an 8" Kicker sub in a custom box behind the passenger-side back seat in my Crew Cab. It's not the full-length, all the way across version like you're wanting to do, but you could check it out in my "CC" gallery to get an idea of the angle of the dangle, etc. Just double the length and you're all the way across and good to go!
