Which year F-350 better 95thru97?

My brother is going to buy one or the other.He is looking at cc/lb 460 auto.Does any one know what the hp & torque ratings are?What trans is iin them are they strong?Are they mass air or speed density?Sorry for so manny questions but we need some help deciding, any other input you have will also be welcome.We know they are the same body stlye but are their any differences?Thanx for your help.

If '96 or better, mass air unless California (originally), 460 is a horse, E4OD transmission is great if in good shape, keep in mind 250's and 350's are work trucks for the most part. Check the transmission out thoroughly. The '97 would be my choice if a choice was offered as it's newer. Stock hp is 245 @ 4,000/400 ftlb torque @ 2,200. Both can be dramatically improved with minimal mods. Mileage should be in the 10-13 mpg range with no load.
