I currently have an 84 ford f-150 with 302 that is carbuerated and i just recieved a complete 89 e-150 van with 5.0l fuel injection as my old 84 engine is getting tired i am considering refreshing the engine from the 89 and swapping it into my 84. I have the complete donor vehicle so I am guessing I have all the parts I would need to do this swap but I am unsure exactly what I need to use from the donor vehicle to completely swap the engine and fuel injection system into the truck. I normally do alot of trail riding and hill climbing so I was thinking that the fuel injection would keep me from stalling out during high angle or off camber situations that I cureently experience with the carbuerated engine. Any helps or tips from others that have performed this same type of swap would be helpful.
