High this my first time posting. I have 1997 f150 4x4, and the doors are starting to crack on back,lower side of window posts. Does anyone know if ford will repair or replace under warranty. Thanks R.C.

 

I woudn't hold my breath. If the truck doesn't have factory warranty remaining, it takes a miracle to get them to fix anything. Actually, even if it was under warranty, they would probably deny it, saying it was caused by abuse rather than defect.

 

actually ford was repairing these problems on the trucks. there was a TSB out on them. but if your original factory warrenty is gone they will not fix it now. the door will have to be sanded and primed with a flexable primer then painted. i had the seam sealer on the roof of my 1997 crack and they repaired it under warrenty.;
